Cornish Summertime and Steam – 20th July to 31st August, at Bodmin General Station, Bodmin, Cornwall PL31 1AQ

Expedition Space at Eden – 21st July to 2nd September, at The Eden Project, Bodelva, St Blazey, Cornwall PL24 2SG

Sterts Theatre, throughout August, Upton Cross nr Liskeard Cornwall PL14 5AZ.  Programme includes The Cherry Orchard, Little Shop of Horrors, The Princess and the Giant, and Steel Magnolias.

Mount Edgcumbe American & Classic Car Show & Fayre – 5th August, Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, Cremyll, Torpoint, Cornwall PL10 1HZ.

Falmouth Week – 10th to 19th August – Falmouth Week has grown into the largest sailing regatta in the south west with more than 450 yachts racing over eight days along with a lively programme of shore side events.

Cornwalls Off-Site Static Sale Event – A look at static caravans for sale off site. 

Jazz in Bude – 28th to 31st August.  The 31st Year of Jazz in Bude, focusing on Traditional and New Orleans Jazz.

British Firework Championships – 8th & 9th August,The Hoe, Plymouth, Devon, PL1 2LR

Riverboat Shuffle Jazz Cruise – 12th August, Plymouth Jazz Club on a Jazz Cruise or ‘Riverboat Shuffle’ from Plymouth up the beautiful River Tamar to picturesque Calstock (1 hour stop) and back.

Open Air Cinema: Pan’s Labyrinth (15) at Mount Edgcumbe, 17th August, Cremyll, Torpoint, Cornwall, PL10 1HZ.

The Summer Sunday Sessions, 22nd July to 2nd September – a series of free concerts by accomplished performers with donations encouraged for Rame Peninsula Beach Care and the Friends of Millbrook Chapel of Rest.  The Tantard (open air), Millbrook, Nr Torpoint, Cornwall, PL10 1AA.

Plymouth Treasure Hunt – 28nd July to 30th September, solve puzzles, crack codes, complete challenges, decypher riddles, and read maps.

Theatre Royal Plymouth – August.
