Here is a copy of the Cornwall Caravan Parks Owners newsletter for June 2018:
Dear All,
Well Summer finally made an appearance this past week and we saw temperatures soaring. We hope everyone managed to make the most of the good weather. The grounds team have been busy planting and cutting grass and making the most of the outdoor jobs around park.
Work at our centralised Head Office at Highbridge is well and truly under way. The offices are coming along nicely.
Re-branding at Notter Bridge and Tamar View has continued to fall under the umbrella of Cornwall Caravan Parks. You will see the logos starting to be replaced at both parks.
We have taken the opportunity to welcome some new members to the team as we continue to grow as a company. We have been busy planning some events, so you will hopefully get to meet them soon.
We are also delighted to announce our charity for the year is Macmillan and have already had our first charity event. We will be organising more throughout the year, so don’t forgot to look out for details of when and where these will be held.
Kind regards,
Ian & Francesca James and the team at Brean Beach Holiday Parks.
Cornwall Caravan Parks Coffee & Cake Morning
Owners from Notter Bridge and Tamar View joined us for coffee and cake at Notter Bridge Park. We raised funds from a cake raffle. Thank you to everyone that came.
Lots of coffee and cake was consumed all in the name of a good cause. There was a rumour that it’s calorie free when your eating for charity!!!
Highbridge Head Office
Sandra may have been with us for 12 years but she is not our longest serving team member. That accolade goes to Mike who is based at Highbridge. He has been with us for 18 years! Joining Mike and team, is Tim Moreland (pictured below left). Some of you at Notter Bridge and Tamar View will have met him whilst he was holding the fort. He will be organising some Owners events at Yellow Sands so you will have the opportunity to meet him. Tim has vast experience of working within the caravan and holiday park industry, not to mention his other passion – his VW Camper van!
Cornwall Caravan Parks
Karen and John have left us after being based at Notter Bridge for the past couple of years.
So the baton has been handed over to Tim Blyth and Clare Booth…….
planning/development, maintenance and grounds-work. He has even been known to sell a holiday home or two!
Clare joined us recently and initially has been based at Tamar View. Clare has spent a number of years working in the holiday home industry, the past few have been in Cornwall. For those not yet had the opportunity to meet her, she is busy planning lots of owners events for you, so hopefully you will be able to have a cup of tea or something stronger!
Tim and Clare will be working together to cover both the parks in Cornwall.
Other news from Cornwall. We are delighted to confirm that the barrier on both parks are now fully operational. The barriers on both parks will be open from 8am – 5pm daily. Hopefully this will make it easier and you will only need your card to access ‘after hours’.
We are also going to set up a Lending Library in the Laundry at Notter Bridge with a selection of books, games and DVD’s etc. Please feel free to swap and donate to the collection.
