Dear All, Well Summer definitely made appearance over the past couple of weeks, which has well and truly made up for the very cold beginning of the season. We hope everyone has been enjoying and making the most of the beautiful weather.
Lots has been happening on and off park – with a busy time at the Royal Cornwall Show and lots of caravan moves around the parks welcoming new customers and existing ones upgrading to new caravans. For those who have never been to the Royal Cornwall Show it is most definitely worth a visit – so much to see and do for the entire family.
We have been very busy updating our website www.cornwall-caravan-parks.co.uk and working on new brochures. New park maps have been put up at the offices at both Tamar View and Notter Bridge. We are going to start putting a list of What’s On in the area each month on the website. So keep an eye on Facebook for details for when this is listed each month.
At Tamar View Park we have now fitted water meters and we would like to encourage those that wish to have slimline water butts as lots of you do at Notter Bridge to collect the rainwater for watering plants etc.
Shane and the guys have been very busy building the pagoda and the BBQ area, which is almost complete now. With of course the addition of the weather vane, donated by a number of you. So all that?s left to do once they have finished is a have a celebratory BBQ launch on Saturday 21st July. We must take the opportunity to say a big thank you to Steve for all of his hard work with this as he will unfortunately be away on the day of the BBQ!
We would like to take the opportunity to politely remind everyone and your visitors of some basic Housekeeping around the parks please.
- Dogs must be on leads when walking them around the parks. Please can we ask you to not allow your dogs to go in between other owners holiday homes whilst on a long lead. We have had a number of situations where dog mess has been found in between holiday homes. Please can we also remind you that no matter where on park you are responsible to clean up after your dogs, no matter if you are in the field at Tamar View or around the water/woodland at Notter Bridge. We know that the majority of you do and thank the people that have in fact being clearing up after others.
- Washing lines must be the Brabantia type that fix to the side of your decking.
We have also reminded Viridor again regarding not coming to the park before 8am to collect the rubbish, especially during the Summer when they have different drivers covering holidays. Viridor have also asked us to remind everyone to flatten/crush when safe to do so the plastic bottles and cans for recycling and to not put the recycling in plastic bin bags.
And finally, we are organising an owners Event for all owners from Yellow Sands, Notter Bridge and Tamar View to attend together. We will be exhibiting at Crealy, Exeter this coming October and thought this would be the ideal place to get everyone together and also the perfect opportunity to have a look at all the new models being launched. We will be having a special Owners VIP Day with drinks and light buffet on Thursday 4th October. Time to be confirmed but we wanted to let you know as much notice in advance to put in your diaries. Clare and Nikki will be there to host.
We hope you and your families enjoy the Summer and we look forward to seeing you all at the Owners BBQ.
Kind regards,
Ian & Francesca James and the team at Brean Beach Holiday Parks.

We would like to welcome Jack to the team in Cornwall. He has been brought in to replace John who has got so busy now with his private gardening customers, he sadly couldn’t stay on. Jack has worked with us before on a temporary basis at Tamar View Park but now joins us as full time grounds assistant, covering both parks.
