Lynton & Lynmouth may be a small fishing village, but has a huge range of pubs, cafes, restaurants, take-aways… everything you will need whether your out for a few local ales or having a stroll and wanting a bag of fish and chips.
We are no strangers to the local restaurants and pubs, and here is a few of our favourites, right on the doorstep but some a little further away (but well worth the extra travel).
The Clifftop Cafe
At the top of the railway, with spectacular views over Lynmouth bay. Known for its huge Cornish cream teas.

The Cottage Inn
Thai food by night. Pub food and Sunday roasts by day. Real ales. By the river

On the edge of Lynmouth.
Great pub fare and great location for coastal walks.

The Lyndale Tea Rooms
Tasty tearoom located in the the centre of Lynmouth with lots of tearoom favourites. The cream teas are well known locally for their tastiness!

A local restarunt, passionate about local food. Serving fresh product cooked just how you like it! With a menu for everyone from fish lovers to vegetarians and the best of the coast and countryside combined. Fantastic drink and wine to supplement your meal out. Perfect for special occasions out or a romantic meal for two when visiting.
The Cracker Barrel
An independent family run restaurant serving a huge selection of burgers, ribs, steak, chicken and pizza in the evenings. With pizzas cooked to order in the authentic flame oven, the family wanted to bring traditional American style food to the coast of the UK.
Cliff Top Cafe
As the name suggests, at the top of the cliff from the cliff railway you can enjoy lovely refreshments and food with stunning views over the water and beyond. Busy on a summers day but always a welcome break when exploring the local areas.
