The Martinhoe brings a real sense of luxury to holiday caravans! Brand New for 2021, our Martinhoe has a large living space, lovely open plan kitchen diner with large double bedroom with ensuite WC and twin room. Perfect for the whole family to enjoy together. Situated on our best plots with uninterrupted views, you can enjoy some perfect summer nights sat on your decking or enjoying a relaxing evening hot tub session!

Please note we do not provide bath towels or tea towels.

Facilities

The Park Reception hosts a small convenience shop for essentials celebrating local produce, including locally baked bread, free range eggs, milk, sausages, as well as local ales and gins etc. This year the park has welcomed the complete renovation of its shower & toilet block facilities, infiltrating modernised fittings and cubicles, touch vanity mirrors, smart energy saving hair dryers and eco friendly dish washers. There are family changing rooms, disabled bathrooms with ramp access, a laundrette, communual freezer and even a dog washing station. All of the communual areas go through vigorous cleaning routines each day. Neighbouring the park – the ‘Beggars Roost Inn’ offers a fab family friendly dining experience with delightful hosts and scrumptious food (just remember to book in advance to avoid disappointment.) Throughout the busy season, the park hosts a local food truck company for Friday evening suppers and takeaway delights between 5-8pm, ask at reception for more details.

Hiding high up amongst the rolling hills of Exmoor and nuzzling the dramatic cliffscape of the North Devon coastline, Lynmouth Holiday retreat settles into the dramatic backdrop overlooking Lynmouth bay and the gentle buzz of it’s harbourside-town. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or looking to own your own holiday home on site to visit whenever you desire, it’s the perfect place to get away and reset amongst the rolling hills of Exmoor.

The town of Lynmouth went from a tiny fishing village to a thriving Victorian tourist resort dubbed ‘Little Switzerland for it’s rolling hills, sheer cliffs and cascading rivers. Whilst the World around may be ever changing, both Lynton & Lynmouth retain their vintage charm, frozen in the reminiscence of an earlier time, the towns are separated by the highest water powered funicular railway in the World and adjoin the infamous mountainscape – The Valley of Rocks.

If the surrounding area was anything to go by, the Retreat itself will certainly not disappoint, with its own dog walking meadow, firecracker laden hedgerows, bewildering bay views and the South West Coast path sat right on your doorstep, this Coast and Country Park offers an idyllic trip back to nature and simpler times. With its quaint meandering roads, lack of large supermarkets, luscious hillside valleys and snippets of Victorian trinkets in the way of old cast iron street lamps and red postboxes – now turned into lending libraries, Lynmouth Holiday Retreat, like the surrounding area celebrates its enchanting history, natural beauty and varied lanscapes at the very heart of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Discover Britain’s tallest sea cliff’s with golden sands at Combe Martin for a traditional seaside experience.
Explore Porlock, a village offering an authentic view into Exmoor life, with quaint village streets and period cottages, leading down to Porlock bay consisting of 2 miles of wildlife rich coastline.
Climb up to Dunkery Beacon, Exmoor’s highest point.
Visit Ilfracombe, a large coastal town with dramatic cliffs, seafront and popular tourist destination.
Ride the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway, the highest, steepest water-powered Victorian railway in the World
Hop over to Dunster Castle, nestled in one of the largest and most complete medieval villages in England, the impressive castle itself is said to date back a thousand years.
Follow the Goat paths across the Valley of Rocks, home to wild goat herds and wondrous rock formations.
Woolacombe beach boasts miles of uninterrupted sands with enough space for all.
Croyde beach is a magical location with sandy beaches, it has an quaint charm about it with a young surfing community vibe about it.
Tour Tunnels Beaches – A series of tunnels carved by Welsh miners in 1820 that provide access to what was the male & female beaches of that time.

Nartnapa Thai Kitchen – A delicious example of fresh Thai cooking with onsite craft ales.
Every Friday throughout the busy season we have a local mobile food van company deliver amazing take away delights onsite on Friday evenings between 5-8pm (Please ask at reception for more details.)
