Barnstaple is the main town of North Devon, England and possibly the oldest borough in the United Kingdom. It is a former river port, located at the lowest crossing point of the River Taw, flowing into the Bristol Channel.
Combe Martin nestles in the most scenic countryside, with Exmoor National Park’s border to the east and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) to the west. The village is on the coast with the iconic South West Coast Path passing through. With some stunning gardens to visit, all within easy reach.
Combe Martin Bay offers a safe place for many activities and all ages. With some of the best rock pools in the area, there’s lots to discover on the beach. You can hire paddle boards or kayaks, exploring the water. Sea fishing is also popular from the bay, with course fishing nearby too.
A charming seaside Edwardian town located on the beautiful south west coastline at the start of the dramatic South West Coastal Path. A stunning mile long seafront, pretty harbour, boating heritage combined with the charm of the town. Attractive Edwardian and Victorian architecture, attractive Blenheim Gardens at its hart and lots of small independent stores you cant help but visit when in the area.
