About Us

As you can see, us and our parks have come a long way! Coast & Country Parks is family owned by Ian & Francesca James (Brean Beach Holiday Parks Ltd.) Having started with their first park in Somerset in 1988 they have brought the same ethos to each park ever since, now owning four parks across the South West from ‘the coast to the country!’

We aim to showcase the very best the South West has to offer, from the golden beaches of Somerset, to the rolling hills of Tamar View the riverside retreat at Notter Bridge and making the most of Exmoor National Park at our latest addition to the group – Lynmouth Holiday Retreat.

We are a close-knit team and you will quickly realise the sense of community and relaxed atmosphere we aim to deliver across all the holiday parks.

Our holiday parks are perfectly positioned to explore all the South West has to offer. Our Yellow Sands Holiday Park in Brean, Somerset is right in the centre of the Brean action, private access to the golden beach but also central to travel to surrounding towns, villages and places of interest. Both Notter Bridge and Tamar View Holiday Parks are positioned on the Devon and Cornwall border, perfectly located to explore all that Devon and Cornwall has to offer.

We often host holiday home owner events such as BBQ’s or coffee mornings where all our owners can enjoy some great company!

THE JAMES FAMILY

Hello, we are Ian & Francesca James, owners of The James Group of companies. We first started in the holiday park industry in 1988, since then the business has gone from strength to strength, adding more holiday parks and extending into the South West, where we have always enjoyed holidaying in Caravans and visiting with our two boys David and Christopher.

You will often see us on the parks as we enjoy visiting Devon and Cornwall, the beaches and coast, villages and towns as well as walking in the stunning countryside which surround our lovely parks, enjoying Plymouth Gin and local pubs as well as the scrumptious cream teas.

OFFICE MANAGER

Nikki BLEWETT

Nikki is the office manager of The James Group head office in Highbridge, Somerset. Not only managing the every day jobs around the office Nikki is a key asset at Coast & Country Parks helping to maintain the accounts, administration and much more!

Nikki is a keen horse rider and owner, now owning a total of 7 horses! 4 of these are Shetland ponies, although they maybe small they keep Nikki busy enough in her own time out of work!

EXTENSIVE HOLIDAY HOME EXPERIENCE

As you can see, our Cornwall parks have come a long way! We made sure to keep the beautiful landscapes and locations almost untouched so our holiday home owners can experience the true beauty of Cornwall from the comfort of their holiday home. We also offer the same luxury from our Brean Beach Holiday Park where owners can enjoy miles of Golden Coast in Somerset.

The main thing we wanted to instill into our holiday parks is the family and friends element. With many holiday parks boasting theme parks, kids activities and more, we wanted to create somewhere where our guests can completly escape the hustle and bustle of these parks and the busy lives we all live. 

Creating a close knit team which you will become to know very well, both Clare and Tim are our park managers who you will see welcoming you into the parks, helping with any questions, manning the office and waving you goodbye when you leave for a trip to the Cornwall coast! Our owners Ian and Francesca also play a very hands on role in the parks attending owners events and getting to know everyone on park… creating a great group of friends!
