Reception & Shop
Come and visit our on site shop in Reception for your essentials. Our friendly reception team will be happy to assist with anything you need.
As you arrive at Lynmouth Holiday Retreat, you’ll find our Reception conveniently located just past the entrance on your right. Here, you can also access our Electric Vehicle Charging points. We have a small on-site shop located within reception, stocking a range of everyday essentials. We’re proud to support local businesses, so wherever possible, we source locally to bring you high-quality produce and a taste of the area.
Pop in and see us for any information or help you need. We can offer local recommendations on walks, things to do, and places to eat in the area. Ask us if you have any questions about the site and its facilities, accommodations, holiday homes for sale or pet friendly offerings. We do have some park rules – these are shown on your Lynmouth Holiday Retreat leaflet that you receive upon check in, and are signposted around the park. We kindly ask that you adhere to these to help ensure a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday for everyone.
For the adventurers, there are signposted walking trails leading directly from the park to Watersmeet, Lynmouth, Countisbury, and beyond. Some trails can be steep, so please check your ability and the conditions beforehand, and ensure you have suitable walking shoes.
Treat yourself to freshly baked goodies such as croissants, bread rolls, and savoury treats. These can be pre-ordered the day before or baked fresh for you on the day—ready in about 30 minutes. You can also get freshly brewed coffee from our machine.
Our shop includes a dog-friendly section, stocking goods from the wonderful Lyn Valley Dog House, as well as limited camping and touring equipment. You’ll also find snacks and sweets, soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits, fresh milk and eggs, selected barbecue meats from a local butcher, ice cream and doggy ice cream from Jude’s, honey and other products from Quince Honey Farm, and takeaway coffee.
We do recommend completing a full food and essentials shop before you arrive, as our on-site shop is small and stocks only essential items. There are a couple of convenience stores in Lynton a short 5-10 minute drive away, and supermarkets further afield, around a 30 minute drive. Please note that all goods listed are subject to availability and may not always be in stock.
The Beggars Roost Inn next door has unfortunately been closed for a number of years; while this was beyond our control due to being a separate company, it will be missed by both our team and guests. – During the summer season, enjoy on-site catering from our very own Airstream, we also host various Food trucks throughout the season – Check our Facebook page or speak with our park hosts at Reception for details on offerings, dates, and times.
