Quite simply one of the best pubs I've ever been in. Totally atmospheric. Would definitely visit again which is of course the ultimate recommendation. Very capable operated by a relatively young team. Food looked great and fantastic range of draught beers preferred in top quality condition. Top notch!

Went again today, different staff but same great welcome and top food and drinks.

Claire and i have just got back from a beautiful week in Polperro cornwall. We popped in for dinner on the Wednesday evening and OMG. The food was fantastic, all the staff are very welcoming the pub itself is one of the must gorgeous places we have ever been to . We ended up there every night for dinner . And it was worth every last penny

Charming pub with excellent friendly service and great food. Everyone in our group was very impressed with their meal. The beef burger was very good and - here’s a sign they aren’t just ticking boxes - the little salad that came with it was a lovely little dish in its own right. The meal sizes were very generous. Highly recommend.

We ate at the Blue Peter twice on a short break in Polperro. Great atmosphere in a very old pub. Gives a feel of tales of old. The team were great and nice conversation had. Food was delicious.

I’d certainly suggest trying it when you’re in Polperro. They don’t take bookings, but just have another pint and be patient, they’ll fit you in. 😊

Had a lovely experience, came here without a booking for the two of us but I had to call and ask for a table, you can't set up a tab but was still nice fresh food. Will definitely visit again next time down from London
