We had a fabulous trip along the Tamar - so peaceful, so beautiful and so relaxing. There was plenty of bird life to see …. I recognised kingfishers, ducks and a sparrow hawk. Paul was very knowledgeable about the geography, history, industry and environment of the Tamar Valley. He inspired confidence with his relaxed but professional approach to briefing. Highly recommend this trip for locals and anyone staying around Tavistock or Plymouth.

We are currently on holiday in Looe and chose Canoe Tamar as one of our activities. It was absolutely fantastic and Paul was a brilliant guide. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and it was fascinating learning about the wildlife and past industry. The whole experience was magical and I would definitely recommend Canoe Tamar to anyone.

Awesome family activity, I have 3 children and from the oldest (16) to the youngest (4) everyone had the best day. Such a great way to explore the river and learn a new skill, everyone felt tired in the best way at the end from laughing and paddling. My 4 year old felt very special as he had his very own tiny paddle!
