Free car park available. Lovely gardens, compact garden very well laid out with a variety of different areas to explore. At our visit there was a sculpture exhibition on which added to the experience. There are seating areas around the garden and inside a cafe which is a lovely environment for a coffee and cake.

I really enjoyed my visit, the gardens are work in progress for new owners. There is a small section where you can buy plants and a pleasant tea room. I felt is was probably more attractive to adults but children may enjoy exploring the winding paths, big trees and little lawns.

I will go again. There is also a very nice pub nearby and good parking too.

A small but absolutely beautiful garden tucked away in the Somerset countryside. Created by Margery Fish, it’s a wonderful example of informal cottage gardening - natural, relaxed and full of charm. The garden is carefully designed to feel effortless, with winding paths, borders bursting with flowers and peaceful little corners.

We visited on a Saturday morning just as it opened and were the first ones in, which was a real treat - it felt like we had the whole garden to ourselves. Wandering around in the quiet, with just the sound of birds and rustling leaves, made the visit even more special.

There’s also a lovely nursery and a small café, perfect for a relaxed morning out. A peaceful, inspiring place that feels both historic and personal.

This was our first time visiting, even though we only live 10 minutes away. We went on a sunny day and caught the end of snowdrop season. The children were free and my ticket was £7 (cheap compared with lots of other gardens). The gardens themselves were lovely to walk around, and even in early spring there was lots to see. The paths are rather uneven which suits the age of the property but might be a problem if you are a little unsteady. The cafe was lovely and reasonably priced with lots of tables and some outside seating for nicer weather. Looking forward to coming back to see how the garden changes through the seasons.

East Lambrook Manor Gardens is a charming and idyllic place, full of character. It’s exactly the kind of place where you meet the kindest people.

In August 2024, during our garden tour through southern England, we made a stop at this beautiful garden. Even at this time of year it was still stunningly beautiful.

I personally think it’s completely fair and appropriate that we paid for entry. It was absolutely worth it.

We felt at home right away and even our little dog was given a warm welcome. The way the employee took the time to learn about him and his story really touched our hearts. It’s so wonderful to encounter such kind and caring individuals!

The peaceful atmosphere allowed us to fully enjoy our break.

I still think fondly of this place and feel joy every time I see the plants I bought at the plant nursery.

Thank you for such a lovely memory. With warm regards from Germany.
