Polperro Model Village – A Cornish Classic in Miniature
Let the kids be giants for the day at Polperro Model Village – a wonderfully detailed, miniature recreation of the real fishing village of Polperro. Little ones will love the sense of surrealism and the tiny, charming features, while grown-ups will appreciate the craftsmanship, precision, and nostalgia woven into every corner.

Your ticket also includes entry to the Land of Legends, where Cornwall’s myths and superstitions are brought to life through lights and animation, as well as the intricate 00-gauge model railway winding through farms, rivers, and its own tiny station…

It’s also a brilliant spot for family photos, so don’t forget to bring the camera along. Lovingly maintained by Lee and Julie Gregory, this much-loved attraction has survived fire, floods, and more than 60 years of history – and remains a firm favourite with visitors of all ages.

Open from Easter to November, and welcoming well-behaved dogs.

Loved this - visit after you’ve been down to the harbour so you recognise parts of the model village. It’s small, but it’s lovely and there’s a history element halfway through with the Polperro floods. £4 for adult tickets, friendly person on the front desk.

Sweet little model village, DOG FRIENDLY TOO!! We went in off peak October so there was no wait. £4 a ticket for adults. Could do with a little paint job.

A quaint model village, this model village of Polperro was a great visit, especially after we explored the town and could recognize the buildings and shops. I loved that the model village even had its own model village replica #MindBlown! It's definitely worth checking out!

I absolutely love this place. I've been visiting Polperro since I was a kid, and it was a special experience to bring my two daughters here, just as my parents did with me and my siblings. The village is still as magical as I remember, though there have been some updates and changes over the years.

One notable feature that remains is the section that discusses the floods of Polperro, which caused significant damage to many homes, including the model village. It's remarkable to see it still standing. The model trains are also still there, though they now only run when you press a button.

However, I noticed that the Land of Legends is missing the voice-over parts that used to explain each section, and some of the mechanics no longer work as they once did. Considering the damage everything endured during the flood, it's impressive that any of it remains.

I will always love this place and will continue to visit it whenever I'm in Cornwall.

Find yourself in Polperro then the Model Village is well worth checking out. This quirky facility has clearly been created with love and is well checking out as you head down to the harbour area. It will only take you 20 minutes or so to see as it's a small place but it's only a few pounds to get in and it's well worth it. Recommend checking it out when in Polperro.

Superb model village. All the houses, streets, and sceneries were really impressive and packed of details. You need to spend some time on each of them to appreciate how much hard work had been put in to make it as realistic as possible. I really enjoyed it and was very lucky to encounter such a beautiful orange butterfly.
