Amazing afternoon tea - so much we couldn’t eat it all! 🧁 can’t wait to try other themed afternoon teas through the year. The garden room is a nice new addition so dogs can join 🐕🐾

A really easy to find location with plenty of free parking. The cafe is lovely, with great views and a range of different kinds of seating from large sofas to American diner style chairs. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a good range of drinks available and the three different drink we bought all tasted great. Prices are a little high and drinks are fairly small compared to most other cafes, hence 4 stars rather than 5. The toilets are surprisingly nice so worth mentioning! I think I saw a sign that said they have won awards. The farm shop itself is excellent with a superb range of delicious, local products to treat yourself. The butchers were super helpful and know their stuff.

I’ve visited Strawberry Fields Pumpkin Patch every year for the past four years, and it continues to be one of my favourite autumn traditions. It’s very easy to find, with plenty of parking both by the farm shop and behind it.

The atmosphere is always really lovely - very autumnal, beautifully decorated, family/kids/pets friendly. The pumpkin selection is amazing with lots of different types of pumpkins. The prices are slightly higher than supermarkets, but that’s what you get for an experience.

Food and drink prices are on the higher side too, but everything tasted great. The Pumokin Patch also offers loads of extras: a corn maze, photo spots, a sheltered talent-show tent, a face-painting tent, sheltered seating area. The staff are always polite, friendly, and happy to help.

This year we tried Pumpkin Nights for the first time and really enjoyed it. There was a live band playing in the main barn, so it was lovely being able to sit, eat, drink, and enjoy the music.

After you’re finished at the Pumpkin Patch, it’s nice to stop of at their Lifton Farm Shop because they have a lot of fresh made produce. The other items do tend to be in the more expensive side.

Overall, Strawberry Fields Pumpkin Patch is always a lovely day out. Just remember to wear wellies if it rained the a day or two prior. I’d definitely recommend :)

My friends from Plymouth have been raving about this place for years.

I'd been to their much smaller shop in Buckfastleigh but finally got to this much superior (flagship) store in Lifton.

It's definitely on a par with "Darts Farm."both in size and quality.

There's a large array of their farm grown fruit & veg; home-made pies & savoury snacks. Good ranges of tea, coffee & biscuits, several from local Cornish & Devon suppliers. Local eggs, cheeses & charcuterie are available too.

They have an amazing deli counter; butchery & bakers.

Plus pick & mix sweets in an (actual) van.

They had a nice selection of toys (including Jellycat,) books; greetings cards; gifts & home wares.

Then, of course, there's the lovely on site cafe.

We had a pre-booked afternoon tea picnic. You each have to pay a (non refundable) £5 deposit to secure your booking.

For £21.95 you get a house tea or coffee or a small soft drink then 1 each of that month's themed treats. Additional drinks cost extra.

We had small pasties; sausage rolls; ham or egg baps; sweet & savoury scones; chocolate pannacottas; chocolate cakes; white choc profiteroles & choc / toffee tarts.

The service was friendly & efficient.

We'll be going back soon.

We visited a few weeks ago for they're Halloween event. We had lunch in the cafe before venturing out to discover what they had on offer. We've been 3 years in a row now and it keeps getting better. My 3 year old loved choosing the pumpkins and riding on the tractor train. I really liked the addition of the live music this year, it really helped add some ambience and atmosphere. We'll be back next year!

Highly recommend :)

We had a lovely time here in the autumn darkness, lit by fun and lights and flame throwers and live music. I suppose it is for youngsters but who cares, we all enjoyed the evening. The shop was great too.

I put 4 stars because of a small niggle that we also found the last time we visited for the tulips. It's the cost of all the extras, particularly the food and drink which of course are an integral part of the visit. The burgers and hot dogs were nice and fairly priced, but my pizza was small and dry, even crispy, with little topping and yet cost £15 which is restaurant price. And the pumpkins were so expensive when you compare to say tesco. I realise there was a huge range and some were very large but it occurs there were thousands of the things laying to waste and £20 is a lot. I just dont want the night to turn into a commercial grabbing enterprise where the entry fee more than doubles by the time you've eaten and drank and bought a fluffy pumpkin. £1.50 for a single marshmallow? Come on, give everyone a marshmallow or three.

That leads to my only other niggle which is that there didn't seem to be any staff patrolling for help or to control people. In the field, where we could load a barrow, were people standing on pumpkins for fun, and kids kicking them, and that got me a bit annoyed. Just behave.

Of course, we came away with a happy glow and can't wait to return.

Lovely day out. Can stroll the dog there. Plenty to see. This month was sun flowers field and strawberry picking. We went in August. Quite big indoor supermarket with great food choices and lots of freshly bake goods.
