Exmoor Dark Skies Festival 2026

Exmoor Dark Skies Festival 2026 will be a celebration of 10 years of the Exmoor Dark Skies Festival – two weeks of astronomy and nocturnal wonders. As Europe’s first international Dark Sky Reserve, Exmoor offers some of the clearest skies in the UK, with minimal light pollution and, on a clear night, dazzling views of the milky way.

The festival runs from Friday 16th October to Sunday 1st November and includes.

• Guided stargazing sessions with expert astronomers.
• Astrophotography workshops for budding photographers.
• Night Walks and Wildlife Safaris using UV light.
• Family friendly learning experiences, with planatarium sessions and lakeside stargazing.
