Minehead and Exmoor Festival

For more than 60 years, Minehead has hosted an entire symphony orchestra for a week each summer. 60 to 70 first rate musicians come together from across the UK to perform outstanding concerts featuring internationally-renowned soloists.

This year we are delighted to welcome back Christopher Stark as our conductor, and David Juritz as leader.

The Festival is unique for its stunning location, for the dedication of its orchestra members, many of whom return year after year, and for the sense of community between the orchestra, its local hosts and its loyal and enthusiastic audience.
