Adrenalin Quarry – Cornwall’s ultimate high-thrill playground
If you’re searching for pure, unapologetic excitement in Cornwall, Adrenalin Quarry near Liskeard deserves the top spot on your must-visit list. Easily found just off the A38, this dramatic rural quarry has been “throwing people off cliffs since 2009,” earning its reputation as one of the South West’s most exhilarating outdoor adventure sites.

Set against towering rock faces and deep freshwater, the quarry is home to a line-up of heart-pounding activities. Brave the huge twin zip wires that send you flying across the water at incredible speeds, or take on the giant cliff-top swing, where you’ll arc out over the quarry with nothing but open air beneath your feet. Over on the lake, the Aquapark offers a massive inflatable obstacle course ideal for families, groups and anyone who doesn’t mind getting soaked. For those who prefer the thrill of speed on solid ground, karting delivers tight turns, high grip and fast laps, while axe throwing provides an unexpectedly addictive competitive challenge.

Not everything here needs to be high adrenaline, though. Entry to the quarry is free for those who simply want to enjoy the stunning surroundings – perfect for wild swimming, sunbathing, or a relaxed picnic beside the water. The setting is rugged yet beautiful, with dramatic cliffs, sparkling freshwater and plenty of space to unwind between activities.

Whether you’re chasing big thrills or looking for an unforgettable day out in a unique Cornwall location, Adrenalin Quarry offers something for every type of adventurer.

Great fun for anyone with the stamina and agility to tackle it.

Food is basic but excellent value. Cheapest jacket potatoes in Cornwall! (outside your own kitchen).

Just be aware you have to be there an hour in advance of your time slot in order to go through the briefings and get kittted out. But you can go and enjoy watching the current victims on the water.

The aqua park at Adrenalin Quarry is the largest and most impressive I’ve ever seen. The great variety of different obstacles allow for an exciting circuit that suits people of different abilities. This park contains two large slides, a trapeze and a variety of different jumping platforms. Although the aqua park was the only thing I did there today, for adrenaline junkies there are many other activities for you to enjoy(zip line, big swing, go karting etc).

Nice day out! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a day out.

It is fun and has things for everyone

Go karting was fun but could probably have longer. The aqua park was fun, the water wasn't too cold. Overall a good few hours away from the house and screens.

**4-Star Review:**

I recently visited this adventure park, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The rides were thrilling and offered a great variety for the whole family, all at very reasonable prices. The highlight was definitely the zip line that stretches all the way down the lake; the views were absolutely breathtaking!

However, the only downside was the trek back up after zipping down. It can be quite a walk, especially after all the excitement! Nonetheless, the scenery along the way makes it more enjoyable.

In summary, it's a great family place with lots of fun activities and stunning views. I highly recommend it for a day of adventure!

Judging by the size of the car parks and the other reviews, we went at a quiet time and it was great. The Aqua bit was wonderful for the kids and seemed a pretty seamless experience from suiting up to safety to in the lake. The zip line was next - bit of a trek up the hill but they seemed to love it. Finally the axe throwing. Great experience but the axes are (understandably) beat up so the handles aren't the best, plus the targets were past their best.
