What a fantastic time we had in the Enrichment Field . The dogs spent an hour very happily exploring the wooden play equipment and having a damn good sniff about..we sat on one of the various benches and had a coffee.

I don't live locally , I regularly come down to my daughter's we always bring the dogs to Charwells, she buys blocks of sessions and comes once a week.

I love the way the owners always keep the coffee, squash, treats ,poo bags and toilet rolls stocked up .

There are always new features being added. I love the new Apple Trees that have been planted along the winding path , looking forward to years to come wandering along through shade it will give and seeing the blossom, then all the different variety of apples. We were saying in time to come we will need to have cash to be able to buy the apples..

Absolutely fantastic idea. The dogs loved it as did i. Great facilities perfect for when you forget your flask of tea. Or need to nip to the loo. And when the make a mess you can easily clean it up with there handy poo bag holders dotted around the site. Also when they're tired and muddy you can give the a wash and a little treat. 100% highly recommend.

Absolutely love bringing my dogs here! The fields are always clean and well-maintained, with treats and poop bags provided, plus tea and drink-making facilities for owners – such a nice touch. There’s even a solid path all the way around, so even in bad weather you don’t end up muddy. You can really see the effort they put into constantly improving the fields. Highly recommend!

First time visiting today but definitely won't be the last! Great setup and facilities for the dogs (and their humans!) Without a doubt the best dog walking field we've visited so far!

Can’t recommend this place enough!

I brought my boyfriend and his Springer Spaniel last Saturday as a surprise birthday trip, and I’m not sure who loved it more! Our dog was so happy—he didn’t stop or rest once!

We tried both the enrichment and splash fields, and they were fantastic. The areas are safely enclosed, with poo bins and water provided.

It’s a great day out for your dog, no matter what level of training they have—there’s something for every pup! There’s also a wash station you can book, which is especially handy if you’re visiting in muddier weather.

Definitely come here—you won’t regret it!

Our two labradors loved both their visits on our way too and from our cottage in Cornwall.

Our pups went on the enrichment field inbound and the splash field outbound. They loved both their visits and it tired them out for our onward journey.

We noticed the sign about the price increases in April of this year and me and my wife said that we are looking forward to coming back to see the improvements. As some of the splash zone features didn’t work

**Update: June 2025** We still love Charwell and all its facilities and visit when we can. Unfortunately, the price rise has made it so much more expensive, especially with two dogs, so we've explored alternatives near by.

**Original review**

Charwell is now our favourite secure doggy playground by far and well worth driving a bit further for the great facilities and variety of paddocks on offer. We've tried the Adventure, Agility and Enrichment fields so far. My dog has a fabulous time getting wet and muddy in the colder, rainy months (seemingly most of last summer!), but I use the shower to get him clean afterwards. He loves the ramp, balance beam and tunnel in Agility and has a fab time exploring the woodpile, tunnel and other areas in Enrichment. We've only tried Adventure a couple of times, but the trampoline and swingball were great. There's so much on offer here, with picnic tables and shelters, kitchens, hot and cold drinks, loos, dog treats, bowls and much more. The packages available make it such good value too. Teddy and I will definitely be back 🐶😀

☆☆ Update: March 2025 ☆☆. We have used the indoor arena so much over the winter. Plenty of space for dogs to run around and play and great set of agility equipment for them to use. Yet another reason we love Charwell!
