OMG, came across this pub last night whilst staying in Lynton. We ordered curry and pizza. Absolutely without doubt the best food! Curry was more of a Katsu curry, beautifully made, delicious 😋. It was my husband's but we ended up sharing, it was too nice for him to hog it all. Pizza reminded us of our trip to Naples where the best pizza is made! Lovely friendly bar staff and atmosphere. This place is well worth a visit. Wish we didn't live 2 hours drive away. Will definitely go back next time we are in Lynton.

We turned up at The Queens on Christmas Eve after our reservation at another place was unexpectedly, and disappointingly, cancelled. The staff were very welcoming despite the place being busy and, obviously, short handed. We each had a very pleasant pub meal of veggie burgers and chips, enthusiastically served.

On this experience I would recommend this establishment whole heartedly.

Brilliant! We landed here when our table was cancelled at another restaurant on Christmas Eve. Although they were very busy we were provided with a table and lovely food. The menu had enough choice for 3 vegetarians. This is good food with no pretensions. Realistic prices and helpful and smiley staff. For us a complete lifesaver.

Would recommend.

Came in for a quick drink with friends after a lovely day in Lynton and Lynmouth. Warm welcome from the chap behind the bar and courtyard was full of locals celebrating a birthday, which was fun. Didn't have anything to eat. BUT I stupidly left my wallet behind and didn't notice til the next day. As a Londoner, I assumed it was gone but thought it worth a call to check. I was delighted to hear that it was safely behind the bar: collected it that evening with absolutely everything intact. Cannot tell you how grateful I was, and how chuffed that people had been so kind. Thank you!
