This is the best restaurant ever! We came when there was a steak deal on which two 12 Oz steaks were cheaper than 2 burgers. As I'm coeliac they even offered fried onions as I couldn't have the onion rings. There was such an amazing choice of food for both of us. There was also a fabulous selection of gf desserts too! We will be back!

Excellent roast but we waited ages for someone to come and clear our plates and to order a dessert. We gave up in the end.

Cheap, cheerful, great efficient friendly staff. Good quality food and portions. Very good value for money. Can't believe I've lived within a mile of this place and only recently visited. 3 times now in 8 weeks. Will be back repeatedly no doubt.

Was blown away with the food. And the service was so friendly. Beautiful place the steak and kidney pudding was the best I have ever had. Cute little shop with local Cornish bits in. Highly recommend will be coming back

Fantastic food and enormous portions. If we'd been staying in the area we would have gone back frequently. Great variety of familiar favourites and more unusual offerings. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full! A real gem in the middle of nowhere with a wonderful view.

My sister took me to this place. It was near Christmas and most tables were reserved. Seeing our disappointment one of the staff checked and said we could use one of the tables providing we were done in about hour and half. We were happy as we had been driving and phoning places and most were booked up. The staff were lovely and so helpful. We had beverages and sis had wine. Reasonable selection of hot and cold drinks. We chose our meals. They had battered fish and chips with peas and tarter sauce. I chose steak and kidney suet pudding, mash potato and veg with gravy. We did not have to wait long before it arrived. And boy there was a lot and it was nice and hot. I loved every mouthful and so did my sis and brother. Great value I thought for money. And so very tasty. When finished we chose desert and I had apple and berry crumble with custard and they chose strawberry cheesecake with cream. And once again a lot of it and very tasty. It's a lovely place and overlooks views of Dartmoor national park. Plenty of seating inside and also outside. Large amount of parking. Also disabled access. Toilets were clean. And like I said staff were lovely. All in all a warm and lovely experience and I personally do recommend.
