Trethorne Leisure Park – Family Fun, Indoor Play & Hands-On Animal Encounters
Trethorne Leisure Park near Launceston is one of Cornwall’s best all-weather family attractions, offering a full day of fun for children of all ages. Set on a working farm, it blends classic countryside charm with plenty of action: bottle-feeding animals, tractor rides, pony grooming, and meet-and-greets with everything from goats to guinea pigs.

Indoors, you’ll find huge soft-play areas, climbing frames, slides, and dedicated zones for toddlers, making it perfect for rainy-day adventures. Outdoors, kids can burn off energy on trampolines, pedal cars, crazy golf and the ever-popular jumping pillows. The mix of animals, play areas and open space means there’s something to keep every member of the family entertained.

Trethorne also offers a range of group activities and seasonal events throughout the year, from Easter trails to festive celebrations. With its friendly atmosphere, easy parking and cafés on site, it’s an ideal day out for families staying in North Cornwall or near the Devon border.

It's good but a bit pricey. Kids loved it. Was a wet day so we only used the indoor facilities so it is quite expensive for a soft play. Get more for your money on a dry day when you can utilise the outdoor facilities.

Carvery was amazing, lots of options, for picky eaters. Plenty of seats available and great entitlement for kids and adults. Only problem is the car park can be quite full at sometimes, but apart from great places to go over the weekend or holiday.

Great day out for my son's 3rd birthday, we visited in November so it was very quiet but still plenty to do for kids and adults. It was pretty cold inside most of the play areas (9 degrees) so bare this in mind if visiting in winter.

For the price you pay, you get a lot of fun. My children loved it. We didn’t have to queue for anything. Friendly staff. A scoop of Kelly’s ice cream only cost you £2.50,
