What an epic day at Wild Wookey — it was absolutely fantastic!

I wasn’t completely sure how I would react to some of the tight, confined spaces beforehand, but the whole experience turned out to be incredibly memorable and so much fun.

From the moment we arrived, our guide immediately put everyone at ease. There was just one other couple in our group, which made the experience feel really personal and relaxed.

We got fully geared up for the adventure. I wore my hiking boots which were perfect, and they provide overalls which encourage you to really throw yourself into the experience without worrying about getting muddy.

I don’t want to give too much away, but there is a bit of everything for anyone who enjoys adventure — climbing, squeezing, exploring and plenty of thrills along the way.

The team are brilliant at subtly checking in with everyone to make sure people feel comfortable and supported throughout.

A huge thank you to the whole team for creating such an exciting and memorable experience. The energy, enthusiasm and encouragement they bring really make the day special.

If you’re even slightly tempted and enjoy a bit of adventure, I would highly recommend giving Wild Wookey a go. It’s the kind of experience you’ll be talking about long after you’ve climbed back out of the caves!

I took my boyfriend to wild wookey for his birthday and we had such an amazing afternoon! The instructor was fab and very knowledgeable. The only thing I would suggest is to maybe set up some cameras around the experience to capture things like the abseiling and zipline. I would have happy paid extra for pictures or footage.

My partner and I had an amazing first caving experience at Wild Wookey. Craig was a fun, friendly guide who kept us engaged the whole time and helped us overcome some apprehension around tight spaces and abseiling! I’d recommend this for anyone looking to step out of their comfort zone with a love for adventure and caves.

Just went to Wild Wookey and had an amazing time with Craig. He was super cool and it was clear he had passion for what he does. The cave itself was beautiful with some really impressive rock formations, and the caving was really so much fun!

I never thought I’d enjoy caving in my life.

This trip was a surprise from my wife and I’m glad that I went because we met the greatest instructor we’ve ever had. Craig is passionate, experienced, a subject matter expert on more importantly, he is a genuine person.

The experience was so amazing that I am willing to explore more future camping adventures. Thanks to him. This place is beyond words, and if you can bring your GoPro, I highly encourage you to do so, because the pictures do not do justice!

Thank you again Craig!

Was a little worried after booking. Myself and the husband aren't the fittest of people in the world and after reading a little bit more into it (albeit a little too late to do anything about it) I was concerned we may not make it through the caves.....not fit in the harness, get stuck in a tight hole, die of a heart attack on the way round etc etc. Well, we made it! We were knackered after and I imagine being fitter would have made it easier, but it was great fun nonetheless and the guide Becca was great and her passion for the caves, and caving in general helped in making it an interesting adventure! Despite a torn ligament in my knee (accident prone) we both thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend anyone that is thinking about doing it to just go for it! 💪

Some would say it's expensive, but it's a once in a lifetime experience, especially if you get stuck. Guide was amazing, very helpful, clearly enjoyed her job and went above and beyond. Crawling through mud, squeezing through tunnels, abseiling down big drops, crossing the river by climbing and boat, finishing with amazing death slide back into wookey. Takes in all the parts of the cave experience walk and more. All equipment provided just wear good shoes or boots.
