My wife does training runs here and i use it for stargazing. The only bit that lets it down is the cost of the car park

Always beautiful walking round the lake, especially at this time of year when the leaves are starting to turn.

My SUP future was born here, so was my friends and my sons. Great team, great activities. Safety of uses are paramount. We have enjoyed camping, coffee and the lake. Beautiful part of my world..

Nice walk around the lake, but three trees down across the paths made it difficult.some parts are difficult and down to single track.

New discovery for me and not very far from Bristol. Definitely a place to explore and launch if you are into paddle board or kayak. Nice camping area near by as well. I enjoyed my visit there and will definitely come back to it. Recommended if you are visiting north Devon

We did a circular walk of the lake starting just after the bridge across the lake. Plenty of seats on the way around near the Visitor centre, very few on the second half of the walk. Take some butties and a drink. It takes about 3 hours.
